Richard Clayderman In Penang Island

You see, this banner stopped me when i strolled passed a Popular bookstore. I reversed and told my friend, a second chance is hard to come by, I seriously do not want to miss this.
But I must have been living under my own roof, not realizing that he was still alive, because the next thing I know when I told my friend about my shocking discovery of him being a living artist, a true friend just laugh her ass off without any doubt.

"Oh My Gosh, you seriously thought he is dead?"
" Ya! Oh My Gosh." And we both cracked up,again.

Since young I've been playing his songs for years and to me, he is a legend. A long long legend.
His music reaches every student who play the piano.
His famously played song "Ballade pour Adeline" has performed for more than 8000 times throughout his life. My dad heard this song when he was in a plane during his teenage life. That would have been 30 years ago. I bet you heard it too.

But I’m glad I had the chance to see his performance live. Being grateful too that I'm still student, an affordable price of a hundred ringgit is paid to watch the Prince of Romance to set the stage romantique.

The modest super star walk in with an amazing opening and there he is, comfortably play across the piano with strings player from Malaysia. He have amazing showmanship and humble himself down to earth and make us felt comfortable watching him perform. His songs are all familiar music to my ear which included the rendition of StevieWonder's music, "Love Story", "Ballade Pour Adeline"(which is a must), "You Raise Me Up" and many more. There was also songs from the classical period with some touch of improvisation. The best part was, i saw it all, live.

Side by side with the banner along with the golden ticket.
(Felt like Charlie from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)

With Bernard, my little brother.

Prince of Romance with his fingers so lively ,
Playing along the piano so swiftly,
Crafting emotions into pieces,
Where the music speaks romantically.
