Piano, is it easy?

Some are inborn-talent, a prodigy, some require more hard work, whichever you are, learning piano is something you have to teach yourself.
Those with talent will only blossom when they polish their skills, and that requires hard work too. Accept criticism positively because although it hurts, it will change your perspective. At least people are telling the truth, not stabbing you from behind. Playing isn't hard, you just need more practice.

Playing the piano = dancing using fingers.
The secret to success lies on the pianist very own hand

How to improve yourself?
This is the question I always ask myself. I cannot tell you the exact answers but this works for me:
-   Listening to a song again and again(like a fanatic) to feel the dynamic and flow of the piece, watch how people play. (Youtube is my savior).

-  If you want to be good at sight reading, read more scores! Playing the wrong notes are fine, as long as you've read multiples of score and try to sight read with the correct tempo. Then, after sight reading, get the notes right, that way, you will not build up the habit of making mistakes.

- Correct your hand posture. A wrong technique might hurt your hand.
"Your knuckle should curl up as if you are holding a tennis ball."

How to play better and better and BETTER?
- Play different genre of pieces, from Baroque to classical to modern or even pop song pieces. Classical period have their own playing method with the use of Alberti Bass. Mozart and Beethoven have they own distinctive style that you will soon recognize each genre's technique of composing after you played lots of their songs.

- Some scores are hard, for examples, arranger and pianist Kyle Landry's pieces can only played by the 'freaks', but if you learned up ONE of his songs in ONE year time and play it smoothly, you will realize that you had ventured into one of the freaks.
It takes time, however, No pain, No gain.

Piano is like your life. What you want it to be depends on how you play it.

Just remember, Keep Moving Forward
- quote from Walt Disney and the movie Meet The Robinson.
